BC Spirit Squares is a $20 million program for captial projects to create outdoor public meeting and celebration spaces such as traditional town squares or community commons. Application deadline is February 16, 2007.

Exploration Summer Camps
Explorations are summertime arts and sport/recreation camps throughout BC for school aged children in kindergarten through grade 7. Up to $5000 of funding is available for each camp. The deadline for funding applications is February 28, 2007.

Green City Awards
The Green City Awards will offer funds to communities that are already furthering profile leading-edge communities in , and provide them with the funds to invest further in initiatives that make their environment even greener and healthier for their citizens.

LocalMotion
LocalMotion is a $40 million program for capital projects such as bike paths, walkways, greenways, improved access for people with disabilities, and projects that support children's activity programs in community playgrounds. Application deadline is February 16, 2007.

Municipal Rural Infrastructure Fund
The federal, provincial and local governments are investing more than $150 million in BC for infrastructure projects under the Canada–British Columbia Municipal Rural Infrastructure Fund Agreement.
- A minimum of 80% of funding will be targeted toward communities with a population under 250,000 people
- At least 60% of funding will assist with green local government infrastructure such as water and waste-water systems, public transit, and environmental energy improvements
- Up to 40% of the remaining funding will assist with non-green projects such as local roads, cultural and recreational facilities, infrastructure to support tourism, and broadband connectivity

Towns for Tomorrow
Towns for Tomorrow is a $21 million program for BC's small communities program to enhance community infrastructure such as water quality improvements, environmental energy improvements, recreation and cultural amenities, protective and emergency services infrastructure and community development.
