Altitude Youth Experience
Spirit of BC’s Altitude Youth Experience gives you a chance to get involved in your community, learn new skills and contribute to developing a community youth legacy in British Columbia.
As a participant, you will:
- Join your peers for a weekend leadership retreat in Squamish, BC
- Become a member of your local Spirit of BC community committee
- Organize two youth events in your community
- Become an active volunteer and participate in Spirit of BC events
- Encourage youth in your community to get involved in Spirit of BC activities

As an Altitude Youth Experience participant, you will join your local Spirit of BC committee and help your community celebrate optimism, hope, friendship and pride: the spirit of British Columbia.
The Spirit of BC program brings together people, projects and ideas to engage and excite every city and town through celebrations of community excellence and innovation. Managed by 2010 Legacies Now, this province-wide program also helps British Columbians get involved in opportunities arising from the 2010 Winter Games.
